Emilien Schenker

With 8 years of experience spanning public offices, research centres and the arts, Emilien is a creative problem-solver who strives to drive meaningful results. His expertise in visual communication, business administration and public management has allowed him to bridge the cultural and economic sectors, particularly within Switzerland's dynamic innovation ecosystem.

While he has diligently applied his skills in business administration, his work is also deeply infused with a passion for the arts, allowing him to approach projects with a unique blend of strategic thinking and creative insight. Over the years, he has supported startups, SMEs, government agencies and renowned academic institutions, helping entrepreneurs secure funding, promoting groundbreaking research, and facilitating the building of essential networks. He is now dedicated to empowering voices and stories on a global scale through philanthropy and impact documentaries campaigns that address social justice, human rights, democracy, and climate issues.

While anchored in Switzerland, Emilien is a serial traveler including personal ties in the Americas and Africa. He genuinely thrives when abroad, embracing the opportunity to learn from and connect with diverse cultures. Curious by nature, adaptable and quick to see the bigger picture, Emilien is inclined to challenge conventional thinking and ensure that projects are grounded in the values of accessibility and diversity.

He shared "I'm glad and humbled to join the passionate and driven team at Storyboard Collective, supporting filmmakers in amplifying stories that need to be heard, hopefully sparking impact and raising awareness where need be."

Zelda Métraux

Zelda started her career with experiences with human rights and medical NGOs, and with the permanent mission of Switzerland to the UN in New York while supporting Switzerland’s tenure on the UN Security Council. Her studies and work experiences have often focused on Eastern Europe, Western Balkans and South Caucasus, while also working and developing knowledge of other regions’ political and historical contexts.

Convinced that audiovisual media and the stories they tell play an essential role in society and can lead to action, she has tried to mobilise these supports to discuss her subjects of study, such as the collective memory in ex-Yugoslavia.

She is eager to get involved in these efforts to use moving images to support social change, and along with her academic background in international affairs and political science as well as her experiences in international cooperation and diplomacy, Zelda is an amazing asset to the StoryBoard team.

She shared "I am excited to join the StoryBoard Collective to support independent artists and the use of audiovisual media to engage society on contemporary issues and foster dialogue between communities."
