What an incredible two days filled with discussions, pitches, and inspiring exchanges. We had the opportunity to discover many original and profound projects from around the world.

This year, the StoryBoard Impact Award went to CHILDREN OF HONEY by Jigar Ganatra & Immanuel Musa Marco. The film follows three young Hadza friends at a critical crossroads for their once-peaceful hunter-gatherer community in Tanzania. As the community faces climate change, land loss, and internal institutional collapse, these young Hadza must navigate an uncertain future.

With this project, the impact team aims to support Hadza-led initiatives, especially the preservation of the Hadzane language and the support of community-driven conservation efforts. The project wants to prevent the cultural erosion of the Indigenous Knowledge Systems of the Hadza community and to inspire a shift in how we globally perceive and preserve hunter and gatherer heritage. The impact campaign has already started with the construction of the Hadza Media and Culture Hub and the training of Hadza storytellers.

A big shoutout to all the amazing projects presented during the Impact Days and to the entire FIFDH Team for another successful edition!
